Custom LED Luminaires
Alongside its catalogue products, Harmony ELS manufactures LED luminaires to the architect's drawing and the project's dimensions. Custom-shaped linear luminaires are built one by one in our workshop in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul; power, colour temperature, beam angle, housing colour and control system are chosen per project.
What can be made to the project?
- Shape: L, Y, S, hexagonal, triangular, square, ring, zigzag and free-form linear luminaires, cut and joined to follow the line on the ceiling plan.
- Size: Any required length for linear luminaires; where a standard size does not fit the space, the housing is adapted to the project.
- Light: Power and luminous flux, colour temperature (2700K–6500K, tunable white), CRI (Ra > 80, optional Ra > 90) and beam angle.
- Housing colour: Electrostatic powder coating in any RAL colour.
- Control: DALI, 1-10V, Switch DIM, Triac and wireless control options, depending on the product.
- Emergency lighting: Integration of a 1-hour or 3-hour emergency kit.
How does custom production work?
- 01Drawing and requirementsThe architectural plan or ceiling drawing, dimensions, use of the space and the intended look are clarified.
- 02Lighting calculationDIALux or Relux is used to check that the shape and layout reach the target illuminance; power and luminous flux are chosen accordingly.
- 03Product designHousing dimensions, LED module (PCB) layout, driver and corner joint details are defined. A prototype can be made before production if needed.
- 04Production and assemblyHousing, LED module, driver and diffuser are assembled in the workshop.
- 05Testing and deliveryLuminaires pass a burn-in test before shipment; mounting details and wiring diagrams are shared with the installer.

What is a custom LED luminaire?
A luminaire designed and made to the project's ceiling drawing, dimensions and lighting needs rather than the standard sizes and shapes in the catalogue. It is most often requested for linear luminaires: light lines of a specific length, turning corners or drawing a geometric shape.

What information should I send for a custom luminaire?

Yes. A prototype can be made before production for custom luminaires, so that shape, light and colour can be checked.
How are the technical values of a custom luminaire documented?
Power, luminous flux, colour temperature and CRI are stated specifically for the project at the quotation stage; luminaires pass a burn-in test before shipment.
