Facade & Wallwasher Luminaires
Facade luminaires are outdoor luminaires used to highlight building facades, walls and columns with light. The Nebo linear wallwasher, with IP66 protection, a ±90° adjustable bracket and beam options from 10° to 60°, is suitable for facade washing and grazing.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is a facade lit with a wallwasher?
The wallwasher is mounted at the foot of the wall or close to the facade; a narrow beam (10°) grazes the wall to bring out texture, while a wide beam (40°–60°) washes the surface more evenly.
What IP rating should a facade luminaire have?
As it is directly exposed to rain and dust, at least IP65, preferably IP66, should be chosen.
